Peter Jones was a Dragon on every series of the original British Dragon's Den panel.
Jones joined the programme when the British version launched in 2005 and remained the only investor from the original panel to appear in every series up to the point covered by the programme's established cast history. His business interests include technology, media, telecommunications and leisure.
The original panel also included Duncan Bannatyne, Rachel Elnaugh, Simon Woodroffe and Theo Paphitis. Those investors left the show at different times, while later series introduced figures such as Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman and Steven Bartlett.
The wording “original panel” matters. It identifies the first group of British dragons rather than every investor who has ever appeared. Peter Jones is therefore the stable answer, while the other names were original dragons but did not remain throughout the full run.
