Touker Suleyman joined the British programme Dragons' Den in 2015 and is known for the fashion retailer Hawes & Curtis.
Suleyman is a British-Turkish Cypriot entrepreneur and investor. He became associated with the fashion business after acquiring Hawes & Curtis, the historic shirtmaker, and he later developed interests in retail, manufacturing and consumer brands.
He joined Dragons' Den during the programme’s later investor eras, appearing alongside established Dragons and other newer additions. His business background has often shaped the questions he asks about margins, manufacturing, distribution and retail scalability.
This fact is distinct from the better-known question of which Dragon joined in 2021: that later arrival was Steven Bartlett. Suleyman’s 2015 arrival came several years earlier, and his Hawes & Curtis connection is a useful way to distinguish him from fellow investors whose careers were centred on technology, food or property.
