Sara Davies joined Dragon's Den in 2019 after founding the craft business empire Crafter's Companion.
Davies started Crafter's Companion in 2005 while studying at university. Her first major product was the Enveloper, a tool designed to help crafters make envelopes. The company grew from a student business into an international supplier of craft products and tools.
She became the youngest-ever Dragon when she joined the panel in 2019, bringing specialist knowledge of direct selling, e-commerce, manufacturing and creative products. Her appointment followed a period in which the panel changed substantially as earlier investors departed.
Davies is distinct from Kelly Hoppen, who was also a female Dragon but came from interior design. Jenny Campbell was another later investor, while Rachel Elnaugh belonged to the original panel.
