Peter Jones is the longest-serving original Dragon on the British version of Dragon's Den.
Jones has been part of the regular Dragon's Den panel since the programme began in 2005. He was one of the five investors in the original line-up, alongside Duncan Bannatyne, Rachel Elnaugh, Theo Paphitis and Doug Richard.
The panel changed repeatedly as Dragons departed and new investors joined. Jones remained a constant presence through those changes, making him the longest-continuously serving original member of the British panel.
He is a British entrepreneur and businessman whose interests have included technology, retail and leisure. His continued presence is why viewers sometimes refer to him as the programme's most established Dragon, although he was not the only original investor to appear in the early series.
