Which investor has appeared in every UK series of Dragons' Den?

Peter Jones has appeared in every UK series of Dragons' Den.

Jones joined the original investor panel when the BBC programme launched in 2005 and remained the only Dragon to serve continuously across the UK series. His business interests include telecommunications, technology, retail and property, giving him a broad background for judging pitches.

The panel around him has changed repeatedly. Original investors such as Rachel Elnaugh, Simon Woodroffe and Doug Richard departed after early series, while later Dragons included James Caan, Hilary Devey, Kelly Hoppen, Nick Jenkins and Steven Bartlett.

A common mix-up is treating “original Dragon” and “appeared in every series” as identical descriptions. Jones is an original Dragon, but the distinctive record is his uninterrupted presence. Other investors may have served for several series without appearing in the complete run.
