Which holiday company was owned by BBC Dragons' Den investor Deborah Meaden?

The story behind the answer

BBC Dragons' Den investor Deborah Meaden owned Weststar Holidays. Meaden acquired the holiday business in 1999 and later sold it in 2005, before becoming widely known to television audiences through Dragons' Den.

Her career began in business and leisure, including involvement in family enterprises and holiday operations. That experience helped establish the commercial and negotiation background she brought to the Dragons' Den panel.

Weststar Holidays is not the same company as Thomas Cook or TUI, which are much larger international travel brands. Meaden's ownership of Weststar was an earlier part of her career, while her later television profile came from evaluating entrepreneurs' businesses on the BBC programme.
