Answer
Suleiman the Magnificent
Answer
Suleiman the Magnificent
Suleiman the Magnificent appears as a major historical character in Assassin's Creed Revelations.
The game is set primarily in Constantinople in 1511, during the early years of Suleiman's life. In the story, he is a young Ottoman prince involved in a succession struggle and becomes an ally of Ezio Auditore. The historical Suleiman later became one of the Ottoman Empire's most prominent sultans.
Suleiman ruled from 1520 until 1566 and is known in Europe as “the Magnificent.” In the Ottoman world, he is also associated with the title “Kanuni,” meaning lawgiver. Revelations uses his youth and the Ottoman succession crisis as a fictionalized setting for its Assassin–Templar plot.
The game also includes historical figures such as Prince Ahmet and Manuel Palaiologos. They should not be confused with Suleiman: Ahmet is an Ottoman prince, while Palaiologos is connected to the Byzantine imperial line.
