Which Harry Potter novel did J.K. Rowling publish last?

The story behind the answer

J.K. Rowling published Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows as the final Harry Potter novel. Bloomsbury released it in the United Kingdom on 21 July 2007.

The seventh book follows Harry, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger as they leave Hogwarts to search for Voldemort’s Horcruxes. Its story brings the central conflict of the series to a conclusion and includes the Battle of Hogwarts.

The book’s publication was a major global event. It sold millions of copies quickly, and its release marked the completion of the main seven-novel sequence. The later stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is set after the novels and was co-credited to Rowling, but it is not the seventh Harry Potter novel.
