The venue serves as a Maelstrom stronghold and is the setting for the mission “The Pickup,” in which V negotiates over a stolen military robot called the Flathead. The gang is known for extreme cybernetic modification, violent behavior, and a disturbing aesthetic centered on replacing much of the human body with machinery.

Totentanz is sometimes confused with Lizzie’s Bar, which is associated with the Moxes, or with Afterlife, the mercenary club run by Rogue.
