Which game features Basim Ibn Ishaq as its main protagonist?

Assassin's Creed Mirage features Basim Ibn Ishaq as its main protagonist.

Mirage follows Basim, a character first introduced in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The game shows his earlier life as a street thief in ninth-century Baghdad and his journey into the Hidden Ones, the historical organization that precedes the Assassin Brotherhood.

Baghdad is the central setting, divided into districts that reflect the city's historical and cultural importance during the Islamic Golden Age. Basim receives training from Roshan and undertakes investigations and assassinations on behalf of the Hidden Ones.

Mirage returned to a more focused stealth format after several larger open-world role-playing games. Its connection to Valhalla can cause confusion: Basim is a major character in Valhalla, but Mirage is the game built specifically around his earlier story. The title was released in 2023.
