Jacob Frye is the playable leader of the Rooks in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Jacob and his twin sister, Evie, are Assassin protagonists in Victorian London. Jacob forms the Rooks, a street gang that helps the Assassins challenge Templar control across the city. His missions emphasize direct combat, gang warfare, and taking territory from rival groups.
Evie is equally important to the campaign but generally focuses more on stealth, investigation, and finding Pieces of Eden. Players can switch between the twins for many activities, while some missions are assigned specifically to one sibling.
Syndicate is set in London in 1868, during the Industrial Revolution. The game features recognizable locations such as the Thames, Westminster, and the City of London, along with a grappling hook and a horse-drawn carriage used for movement.
