L’Interdit Rouge is a flanker of Givenchy’s L’Interdit fragrance line. It follows the original L’Interdit, a perfume associated with Audrey Hepburn and first released commercially in 1957, while presenting a warmer and spicier interpretation.

The Rouge version was created by perfumers Fanny Bal and Dominique Ropion. Its composition includes blood orange, ginger, tuberose, jasmine sambac, sandalwood, patchouli, and pimento leaf, giving it a more explicitly spicy profile.

This release is easy to confuse with the original L’Interdit or the 2018 modern revival. The word Rouge identifies the 2021 flanker, not the first perfume in the historic Givenchy line.
