Which fragrance brand launched Pure Poison in 2004?

The story behind the answer

Dior launched Pure Poison in 2004.

Pure Poison is a Dior fragrance and a later member of the Poison family. It was created by perfumers Carlos Benaïm, Dominique Ropion, and Didier Mariotti. The scent is centered on white floral notes, especially jasmine, and is presented as a cleaner, more luminous interpretation of the Poison name.

The original Poison launched in 1985 and became known for its dramatic plum, spice, and tuberose character. Pure Poison is therefore related to Poison but is not the same perfume. The distinction matters because Dior has released several fragrances using the Poison name, including Hypnotic Poison and Midnight Poison.

Pure Poison’s white bottle also contrasts with the darker, jewel-toned packaging associated with some earlier Poison releases.
