Roger Clemens played catch with his son Kody Clemens after the 2026 MLB Field of Dreams Game.
Kody Clemens, an infielder for the Minnesota Twins, took part in the game at the Iowa site. Afterward, his father Roger Clemens joined him on the field while wearing a classic Boston Red Sox jersey.
The father-and-son catch echoed the central baseball relationship in Field of Dreams, in which Ray Kinsella shares a catch with his father. Kody said the idea came from Roger, who wanted to recreate that emotional movie image.
Roger Clemens is a seven-time Cy Young Award winner and a member of the 4,000-strikeout club. The postgame scene was separate from the official contest, but it became one of the event’s most personal tributes to baseball and family.
