Which film won Best Original Song at the 2026 Golden Globes?

“Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters won Best Original Song at the 2026 Golden Globes.

The song is performed in the film by the fictional group HUNTR/X, whose members fight demons while pursuing success as K-pop stars. It functions both as a pop anthem and as part of the film’s supernatural storyline.

The award went to the song and its credited creators, rather than to the animated movie as a whole. KPop Demon Hunters also won the separate award for Best Animated Motion Picture.

The title is commonly written in quotation marks when referring to the song. It should not be confused with other recent awards-season songs such as “El Mal” or “What Was I Made For?”
