Which film led all 2026 Golden Globe film nominations with nine?

One Battle After Another led all 2026 Golden Globe film nominations with nine.

The film’s nine nominations made it the most nominated movie at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards. Its bids covered major areas including picture, acting, directing, screenplay, and supporting performances, reflecting the breadth of its recognition rather than a single isolated nomination.

One Battle After Another converted that attention into four wins: Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson, Best Screenplay, and Female Supporting Actor for Teyana Taylor. It therefore led both the film nomination count and the film award total.

Sentimental Value followed with eight film nominations, while Sinners received seven. Those figures are easy to mix up because all three films were prominent contenders and appeared across several categories. The number nine refers to nominations received before the ceremony, not trophies won during the broadcast.
