Marty Supreme earned Timothée Chalamet the 2026 Golden Globe for Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
Chalamet played Marty Mauser, a fictional table-tennis player, in Josh Safdie’s sports drama. The film draws on the world of competitive table tennis while presenting a stylized story about ambition, fame and self-invention.
The Golden Globe was Chalamet’s second win in this category. He had previously won for his performance in Wonka at the 2024 ceremony.
Marty Supreme was also notable for its unusual subject within the awards-season field: professional table tennis. Chalamet’s victory was separate from Wagner Moura’s drama acting win for The Secret Agent.
