Evie Frye shares the lead role with Jacob Frye in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Evie and her twin brother Jacob are Assassin protagonists operating in London during the Industrial Revolution. The game allows players to switch between them for much of the campaign, and each character has a distinct skill emphasis. Evie is strongly associated with stealth, infiltration, and searching for Pieces of Eden, while Jacob often favors direct combat and gang leadership.
Their joint story centers on resisting Templar influence in London and building the Rooks, a street gang allied with the Assassins. Evie is not Elise de la Serre, who is a major character in Assassin's Creed Unity, and Shao Jun is the protagonist of the later side-scrolling title Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China. Lucy Stillman belongs to the modern-day storyline of earlier games.
