Evie Frye is one of the two playable protagonists in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Evie is an Assassin who operates in London with her twin brother, Jacob Frye. The game is set during the Industrial Revolution in 1868, when London is shaped by factories, railways, organized crime, and severe social inequality. Evie and Jacob establish and expand an Assassin presence while opposing Templar control of the city.
Evie is generally associated with stealth, investigation, and careful planning, while Jacob is more closely associated with direct combat and gang leadership. Players can switch between them during much of the campaign, although some missions require a particular character.
Evie is not the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Liberation; that role belongs to Aveline de Grandpré. Kassandra leads one route in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Aya, later called Amunet, is a major character in Assassin's Creed Origins.
