Which fashion house launched Terre d’Hermès Eau Très Fraîche, a fresher version introduced in 2014?

The story behind the answer

Hermès launched Terre d’Hermès Eau Très Fraîche, a fresher version introduced in 2014.

Terre d’Hermès Eau Très Fraîche is a flanker of Terre d’Hermès, the Hermès men’s fragrance originally launched in 2006. The original was created by perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena and became associated with a mineral, woody, and citrus style inspired by earth, sky, and water. Eau Très Fraîche interprets that identity with a lighter, more invigorating emphasis.

The Hermès name is essential because Terre d’Hermès is sometimes incorrectly attributed to a generic “French perfume brand.” Hermès is a Paris-based luxury house founded in 1837 as a harness workshop before expanding into leather goods, silk, fashion, and fragrance.

Eau Très Fraîche should not be confused with Eau Givrée, another later Terre d’Hermès interpretation. The names describe related products, but they are separate releases with different launch dates and compositions.
