KENZO collaborated with H&M on a collection released in 2016.
The KENZO x H&M collection was announced as part of H&M’s series of limited designer partnerships and launched in November 2016. It brought KENZO’s energetic prints, vivid colors and bold styling to a mass-market collaboration.
KENZO was founded in Paris by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada in 1970. The brand became known for combining influences from different cultures with expressive, pattern-heavy fashion. That visual identity shaped the H&M collection’s standout appearance.
KENZO is often confused with other H&M collaborators from nearby years. Balmain partnered with H&M in 2015, while Moschino’s collection arrived in 2018. Versace’s H&M collaboration was released in 2011.
