Which entrepreneur pitched the Tangle Teezer on BBC Dragon's Den?

The story behind the answer

Shaun Pulfrey pitched the Tangle Teezer on BBC Dragon's Den.

Pulfrey, a British hairstylist and inventor, developed the detangling hairbrush after observing the difficulty of removing knots without damaging hair. He presented the product to the Dragons while seeking investment to develop and market it.

The pitch became notable because the investors did not make an offer. Despite that television setback, Pulfrey continued developing the business, and Tangle Teezer later became an internationally recognised hairbrush brand.

The story is a useful reminder that appearing on Dragon's Den does not require a successful on-screen deal for a product to prosper. It is also distinct from pitches by Dragons who later invested in other grooming or beauty businesses.
