Touker Suleyman joined the Dragon's Den panel in 2015 after building a career in fashion and retail.
Suleyman became a Dragon in the thirteenth series of the BBC programme. He is a British-Turkish-Cypriot entrepreneur whose business interests have included fashion manufacturing, clothing brands and retail companies.
His career began in the garment trade, and he later became associated with brands including Hawes & Curtis and Ghost. That experience made fashion production, wholesale supply and retail positioning recurring areas of interest when entrepreneurs pitched consumer products in the Den.
Suleyman's arrival is easy to confuse with other modern Dragons because several investors joined the programme during the 2010s. Nick Jenkins joined in the same broad era, while Steven Bartlett arrived much later, in 2022. The specific 2015 appointment belongs to Suleyman.
