Which entrepreneur joined the Dragon's Den investment panel in 2006?

The story behind the answer

Deborah Meaden joined the Dragon's Den investment panel in 2006.

Meaden is an English businesswoman and investor who became one of the programme's most recognisable Dragons. She joined during the show's second series, following the departure of members of the original panel.

Before appearing on television, Meaden had built experience in business and investment, including involvement with family enterprises and leisure businesses. On Dragon's Den, she became known for direct questioning and for assessing whether entrepreneurs understood their customers, costs and routes to growth.

Her arrival is sometimes dated to the programme's launch because she is so strongly associated with its established panel. However, the original 2005 lineup did not include her. She has remained one of the longest-serving recurring investors in the British version.
