Sara Davies joined the British programme Dragon's Den as a Dragon in 2019.
Davies became an investor after establishing Crafter's Companion, a company that supplies tools and products for craft enthusiasts. She founded the business while still a student after developing an envelope-making product and recognising a market among crafters.
Her business story is closely associated with direct selling, product development and television shopping. These experiences shaped her approach to pitches involving creative products, demonstrations and consumer audiences.
Davies joined after several earlier female Dragons, including Rachel Elnaugh, Deborah Meaden and Kelly Hoppen. She is therefore not the first woman on the programme, but she is the Dragon associated with the 2019 change in the panel. Her appointment also added a specialist in the craft and hobby market.
