Which entrepreneur joined the British Dragons' Den panel in 2022?

Steven Bartlett joined the British Dragons' Den panel in 2022.

Bartlett became an investor on the twentieth series of the British programme. He is an entrepreneur, author and podcaster who co-founded Social Chain, a social-media marketing agency, and later became associated with The Diary of a CEO podcast and its related media business.

His appointment represented a newer generation of technology and digital-media entrepreneurship on the show. Earlier dragons had often been recognised primarily for careers in retail, manufacturing, property or traditional consumer businesses, while Bartlett brought experience from internet-based brands and online communities.

The date refers to his joining the British programme, not the date Social Chain was founded or the launch of his podcast. He is also distinct from other investors named Steven or Stephen who have appeared in business media. Bartlett became one of the youngest people to serve on the British panel, a detail often mentioned alongside his appointment.
