Sara Davies joined the British Dragons' Den panel in 2019 as the show's youngest female Dragon.
Davies is a British entrepreneur best known for founding Crafter's Companion, a craft-products business she started while studying at university. Her company developed from an invention intended to help people make envelopes, then expanded into products, tools and media aimed at the crafting market.
She joined Dragons' Den for its seventeenth series. That date is often confused with the launch of Crafter's Companion, which began much earlier, or with the appointments of other female Dragons. Her distinction as youngest female Dragon describes her position at the time she joined and is not a claim that she was the youngest investor of every kind.
Davies brought particular experience in product development, direct-to-consumer sales and building a specialist brand. Those areas can be valuable in the Den, where a pitch is judged on both financial potential and the entrepreneur's ability to execute.
