Tej Lalvani joined the British Dragon's Den panel in 2017.

Lalvani is a British businessman and investor who became a Dragon in the programme's fifteenth series. He is the chief executive of Vitabiotics, the health and nutrition company founded by his father, Kartar Lalvani.

Vitabiotics is known for brands including Wellman, Wellwoman and Pregnacare. Lalvani therefore brought experience in consumer healthcare, supplements, branding and international distribution to the investor panel.

His appointment is sometimes confused with Touker Suleyman's, because both joined after the original Dragons and both invested in consumer businesses. Suleyman arrived in 2015; Lalvani arrived two years later. Steven Bartlett's later appointment belongs to 2022, making him part of a subsequent generation of Dragons.
