Which entrepreneur joined Dragon's Den as a Dragon in 2019?

Sara Davies joined Dragon's Den as a Dragon in 2019.

Davies became an investor on the BBC programme in its seventeenth series. She was known for founding Crafter's Companion, a craft-supplies business she started while studying at university and developed into an international company.

Her appointment added a founder with experience in product development, direct-to-consumer retail and television shopping. Davies had already appeared in business media before joining the panel, but Dragon's Den brought her investment decisions to a much larger audience.

Sara Davies is sometimes confused with Jenny Campbell because both were women who joined the panel in the later 2010s. Campbell joined earlier, in 2017, whereas Davies became a Dragon in 2019. The series number and year therefore help distinguish their appointments.
