Which entrepreneur invented Stylfile, the ergonomic nail-care product pitched on BBC's Dragon's Den?

The story behind the answer

Tom Pellereau invented Stylfile, the ergonomic nail-care product pitched on BBC's Dragon's Den.

Pellereau designed Stylfile as a curved nail file intended to follow the shape of a fingernail. The design aimed to make filing easier and more controlled than using a traditional straight file. He presented the product on Dragon's Den and secured investment from Lord Alan Sugar, who was a guest Dragon on that episode.

The agreement helped Stylfile gain visibility and retail distribution. Pellereau's pitch is remembered because it combined a simple everyday object with a design change that was easy for viewers to understand. The product later expanded into a range of nail-care tools.

Stylfile is sometimes confused with Tangle Teezer, another well-known product whose inventor appeared on the programme. Shaun Pulfrey created Tangle Teezer, while Tom Pellereau created Stylfile. Their products belong to different categories: hair detangling and nail care.
