Peter Jones has been the only original Dragon to appear in every series of the UK Dragon's Den.
Jones joined the original panel when the British programme began in 2005. His business interests have included mobile communications, technology, media and consumer brands, giving him a broad background for assessing the pitches presented on the show.
Other early Dragons became strongly associated with the programme but did not remain through every series. Panel membership has changed repeatedly, with guest Dragons and replacements adding different areas of expertise and investment styles.
The phrase “original Dragon” refers to members of the initial panel, not every investor who has ever appeared. Jones's continuous presence is therefore a specific series record rather than a claim that he has made every investment shown.
