Peter Jones has been a dragon on the British series Dragons' Den since its first series.
Jones was part of the original investor panel when the programme premiered in 2005. He is a British entrepreneur and businessman with interests that have included technology, media, retail and property.
His continuous presence made him the longest-serving original dragon in the British edition. The panel around him changed repeatedly as investors joined and departed, while Jones remained a constant link between the first series and later episodes.
Duncan Bannatyne was also an original investor, but he left the regular panel after the eighth series. Theo Paphitis and Richard Farleigh appeared in later or different panel line-ups, so neither has been present from the beginning in the same continuous way.
