Peter Jones has appeared as an investor in every series of BBC's Dragons' Den.
Jones was one of the original five dragons when the British programme launched in 2005. His long-running presence makes him the show's most consistent panel member, although the other original dragons did not all remain for the full run.
Jones is a British entrepreneur and investor whose interests have included technology, media, retail and property. His on-screen role involves questioning entrepreneurs about valuation, sales, margins and the amount of equity offered.
A common mix-up is to identify Duncan Bannatyne or Theo Paphitis, both prominent early dragons. They were original investors, but neither appeared in every series. Peter Jones is also distinct from fellow long-serving dragon Deborah Meaden, who joined after the programme had already begun.
