Tom Pellereau founded the Stylfile nail-care business after appearing on Dragon's Den.
Pellereau is an inventor and product designer whose Stylfile range rethought the conventional nail file. The products use curved or shaped designs intended to make filing nails easier, particularly around the natural curve of a fingertip.
His Dragon's Den appearance led to an investment from Lord Alan Sugar. The deal helped Pellereau develop and market the product, making Stylfile one of the businesses commonly cited as a positive outcome from the programme. Pellereau later appeared in connection with product development and innovation beyond the original nail-care range.
Stylfile is not the same business as Trunki, another well-known design-led product associated with the show. Rob Law created the ride-on children's suitcase, whereas Pellereau focused on personal grooming tools. The answer is the entrepreneur's name, not the brand name or the Dragon who invested.
