Kelly Hoppen founded Kelly Hoppen Interiors before joining Dragon’s Den.
Kelly Hoppen established her interior-design business as a teenager and developed it into a recognised international design brand. Her work became associated with a pared-back aesthetic, especially neutral palettes, uncluttered lines and an emphasis on proportion.
The company name is useful because Hoppen’s public identity is closely tied to her own design practice. She later extended her brand into products, books and television, making her a notable example of a creative professional moving into business investment.
She joined Dragon’s Den in 2013, but the design company predates her television role by many years. That distinction separates her original business from her later work evaluating other entrepreneurs’ pitches.
