Which entrepreneur founded the British luggage company Trunki after appearing on Dragons' Den?

The story behind the answer

Rob Law founded the British luggage company Trunki after appearing on Dragons' Den.

Law developed the ride-on children's suitcase as a more practical alternative to conventional hand luggage for young travellers. He pitched the product on Dragons' Den in 2006, seeking investment for his company.

The dragons did not invest, but the televised pitch gave Trunki substantial public exposure. The product subsequently became widely recognised for its moulded design, wheels and ability to let children sit on or ride the case while travelling.

The story is often cited as an example of a rejected Dragons' Den pitch that nevertheless became commercially successful. Trunki is the brand name, while Rob Law is the entrepreneur associated with its creation and development. This is distinct from Tangle Teezer, another well-known product whose founder also appeared on the programme without securing a deal.
