Sara Davies founded the British craft company Crafter's Companion before joining Dragons' Den.
Davies created Crafter's Companion in 2005 while she was a student at York University. The business began with a product designed to help crafters make envelopes and developed into an international craft-supplies company.
Her entrepreneurial experience in product development, retail and direct selling shaped her role as an investor. Davies joined the British Dragons' Den panel in 2019, becoming one of the programme’s later-generation dragons.
The business’s name is sometimes confused with Davies’s television role. Crafter’s Companion is the company she founded; Dragons' Den is the programme on which she later appeared as an investor.
