Rachel Elnaugh founded the British company Red Letter Days before appearing as a Dragon's Den investor.
Red Letter Days began in 1989 and sold experience gifts, offering customers memorable activities rather than conventional physical presents. The company became a prominent example of experience-based retail in Britain and made Elnaugh a recognised entrepreneur.
Elnaugh later joined the first Dragon's Den panel in 2005. Her business background gave her direct experience of branding, customer demand, fulfilment, and the financial pressures that can affect a growing company.
