Which entrepreneur founded Tangle Teezer before pitching the product on the UK series Dragon's Den?

The story behind the answer

Shaun Pulfrey founded Tangle Teezer before pitching the product on the UK series Dragon's Den.

Tangle Teezer is a hairbrush designed to detangle hair with flexible teeth arranged in a distinctive pattern. Pulfrey, a British hairstylist and inventor, developed the concept after experimenting with tools intended to reduce pulling and discomfort during brushing.

He presented the product on Dragon's Den in 2007. Although the appearance did not produce an investment deal, the brand later grew into an international hair-care business and became one of the programme's frequently cited examples of a company that succeeded without funding from the dragons.

Tangle Teezer is often mixed up with Trunki because both products became successful after notable pitches. Their founders and product categories are different: Shaun Pulfrey created a detangling hairbrush, while Rob Law created a ride-on children's suitcase.
