Which entrepreneur created the Trunki children's ride-on suitcase that appeared on the British show Dragon's Den?

The story behind the answer

Rob Law created the Trunki children's ride-on suitcase featured on the British show Dragon's Den.

Law developed Trunki as a lightweight suitcase that children could sit on and pull or ride while travelling. The product was intended to make airport and holiday journeys easier for families while giving children a more engaging way to carry their belongings.

The Dragon's Den appearance became notable because Law did not secure an investment deal from the panel. Trunki nevertheless became a major commercial success after the programme, making the pitch a frequently discussed example of a business succeeding despite leaving the den without funding.

Trunki is sometimes confused with a conventional wheeled children's suitcase. Its distinctive feature is the ride-on design, including a shaped body and handles that allow a child to sit on the case. The product was developed by Law's company, Magmatic.
