Which entrepreneur became the youngest-ever dragon on the British Dragons' Den panel?

Steven Bartlett became the youngest-ever dragon on the British Dragons' Den panel.

Bartlett joined the panel in 2022 at the age of 29, making him the youngest investor to hold the dragon role in the British programme. He is an entrepreneur, author and podcaster best known for co-founding the social-media marketing company Social Chain.

His appointment marked a generational change in the panel. Earlier dragons were generally established business figures with long careers in retail, manufacturing, property or investment. Bartlett brought experience from digital entrepreneurship and online media, sectors that had become increasingly important to new businesses appearing on the show.

The title refers to his age when he joined the panel, not to the age of the youngest contestant or the youngest person to receive an offer. Those are different records and should not be conflated with the youngest-ever dragon distinction.
