Steven Bartlett became a Dragon on the British television show Dragon’s Den in 2021 after co-founding The Social Chain.
Bartlett is an entrepreneur, author and podcast host. He co-founded The Social Chain, a social-media marketing company, with Dominic McGregor. The business grew from a digital-media venture into an international agency group serving brands and online communities.
He joined Dragon’s Den for the nineteenth series in 2021. His background differed from that of several earlier Dragons because it centred on social media, digital marketing, online audiences and technology-enabled businesses.
Bartlett is sometimes confused with other recent Dragons, particularly Touker Suleyman or Tej Lalvani. Suleyman joined in 2015, while Lalvani joined in 2017. Bartlett’s 2021 appointment marked a later generation of the programme’s panel.
