Sara Davies became a Dragon on the British television series Dragon's Den in 2019.
Davies is an entrepreneur from County Durham who founded Crafter's Companion, a craft-products company, while she was a student. The business grew from a product designed to help with papercraft into an international company selling craft tools, materials and related products.
Her appointment brought a founder with direct experience of building a product-led company to the panel. She became particularly associated with explaining manufacturing, retail and customer-focused growth in accessible terms, although the show's negotiations cover many different industries.
Sara Davies is sometimes confused with other business personalities who have appeared on BBC entrepreneurship programmes. Her Dragon's Den appointment was in 2019, and her Crafter's Companion background is the identifying fact that separates her from those presenters and investors.
