Which entrepreneur became a Dragon on the BBC show after founding the lingerie company Ultimo?

The story behind the answer

Michelle Mone became a Dragon on the BBC show after founding the lingerie company Ultimo.

Mone founded MJM International in 1996 and launched the Ultimo lingerie brand. The company became associated with adhesive and supportive lingerie designs, and Mone built a public profile as a Scottish entrepreneur and businesswoman.

She joined Dragon's Den as an investor for the programme's fifteenth series in 2015. Her appearance added a new Dragon with experience in fashion branding, product development and consumer retail. She left the panel after one series, so her tenure was much shorter than those of long-serving investors such as Peter Jones or Deborah Meaden.

Mone is sometimes confused with Kelly Hoppen, another former Dragon known for interior design, or with Rachel Elnaugh, an original Dragon associated with Red Letter Days. Those entrepreneurs had different businesses and appeared in different periods of the programme's history.
