Which entrepreneur became a Dragon on the BBC series in 2019?

Sara Davies became a Dragon on the BBC series Dragons' Den in 2019.

Davies joined the panel for the seventeenth series. She founded Crafter’s Companion, a craft-supplies business, after developing a tool while she was a student at the University of York. The company grew from that early product into an international crafting business.

Her appointment added a specialist in craft retail and direct-to-consumer commerce to the investor line-up. This background helped distinguish her from Dragons whose careers were primarily in property, finance, fashion or technology.

Sara Davies is sometimes confused with Jenny Campbell because both joined the BBC panel during the 2010s. Campbell joined earlier, in 2017, while Davies became a Dragon in 2019. Davies later became familiar to wider television audiences through other programmes as well.
