Deborah Meaden joined the British Dragon's Den panel in its third series.
Meaden is an English businesswoman and investor who became one of the programme’s most recognisable Dragons. Before appearing on television, she built experience in business and investment, including work connected with family enterprises and leisure companies. Her role on the show involves assessing pitches, valuing businesses and negotiating possible equity deals.
Her arrival occurred after the programme’s first two series, so she was not part of the original launch panel. That distinction matters because the investor line-up has changed repeatedly across the show’s run.
Meaden is sometimes confused with later female Dragons such as Kelly Hoppen, Jenny Campbell or Sara Davies. They joined in different periods. Meaden’s defining connection to this question is her addition for series three.
