The Elvish language created by J.R.R. Tolkien and associated with the Noldor is Quenya.
Quenya is one of Tolkien’s most fully developed constructed languages. He shaped its sound and structure partly under the influence of Finnish, although it also draws on other linguistic interests. In the mythology of Middle-earth, Quenya is the ancient language of the Elves of Valinor and is especially linked with the Noldor, who return to Middle-earth in the First Age.
Tolkien created vocabulary, grammar, sound patterns, and historical changes for Quenya rather than inventing only a collection of decorative words. The language appears in names, songs, titles, and ceremonial phrases throughout his writings. Its influence can be seen in names such as Eärendil and Númenórë.
Sindarin is the other major Elvish language prominent in The Lord of the Rings. It is associated especially with the Sindar and was influenced in sound by Welsh, so it should not be treated as another name for Quenya.
