Which driver waited longest between his first and second Le Mans overall wins?

Alexander Wurz waited longest between his first and second overall Le Mans wins. He won the 1996 race for Joest Racing in a Porsche WSC-95, sharing the car with Manuel Reuter and Davy Jones. Wurz was only 22, making him the event’s youngest overall winner at the time.
