Which Dragon’s Den product is a reusable children’s travel case created by entrepreneur Rob Law?

The story behind the answer

Trunki is the reusable children’s travel case created by entrepreneur Rob Law and featured on BBC’s Dragon’s Den.

The ride-on case was designed for young children to sit on and pull or push while travelling. Its shape, bright colours and child-focused design helped it stand apart from ordinary luggage. Rob Law developed the idea through his company, Magmatic, which became associated with the Trunki brand.

The product is especially notable in Dragon’s Den history because Law did not accept an investment offer after his pitch. Trunki nevertheless became a successful commercial product, showing that appearing on the programme can provide publicity even when an entrepreneur leaves without a deal.

Trunki is often confused with Tangle Teezer because both are well-known products that appeared on the show and later became successful. Tangle Teezer is a hairbrush brand; Trunki is children’s luggage designed for travel.
