Which Dragon's Den investor was the youngest person to join the British panel?

Steven Bartlett was the youngest person to join the British Dragon's Den panel.

Bartlett joined the programme for its nineteenth series in 2021, when he was 29 years old. His appointment brought a younger technology and social-media entrepreneur to a panel previously dominated by more established business figures.

He co-founded Social Chain, a social-media marketing company, with Dominic McGregor in 2014. Bartlett later became widely known for hosting The Diary of a CEO podcast, which broadened his public profile beyond business investment.

The record concerns age at the time of joining Dragon's Den, not the youngest entrepreneur ever to pitch on the programme. Bartlett is also distinct from Steven, or “Steve,” Bartlett references in unrelated business lists; the dragon is the British entrepreneur and podcast host.
